I think i see where their play is leading to, the attempt to appear generous is not the open source spirit as we now it, but rather a sheilded way of retaining windows is dominant market share..case in point, by having better virtulization support for *nix variants, this will make the windows linux virtualisation usage more friendly hence, giving current windows lovers another reason to stay on the obese OS,..thus cementing linux or any *nix variants as cheap options to it, with rudimentary support for device drivers ,media plugin's etc..as we already know to the non technically inclined, downloading/updating or even surfing in a virtualized environment is "impossible" as it cant be concieved by them that the host and virtual OS can use the same hardware concurrently..such a stain can't be shakenoff in the end user's mind's..,the same stain will stick to products's like ChromeOS or Android which champion the linux brand....These M$ guy's are truely evil.
