James Edubuntu is actually an add on to Ubuntu 9.04, so that is what needs to
be configured for your modem. I recently had a bad experience with a new MTN
Edge Modem which was not detected by either 8.04 or 9.04. I have in the past
successfully configured MTN modems to work with Ubuntu. Which type of modem do
you have?

Actually, you corrected me. I should have said 'Educational material' in my
email. I think I will make arrangements to pick the Edubuntu. I hope it will be
able to detect my MTN modem :)

Favourites games:- Worms, OpenArena (10+), GnoTris, Pingus, Super Tux Racer,
Flightgear. If your looking for educational material I'd recommend Edubuntu
9.04, which I have a copy of now. Simon Vass Technical Manager E-Tech Uganda
