Hi, It seems everybody is pretty keen & checked in. Great. Before we meet, we could perhaps pingpong some ideas around:
- Last year we did presentations, but we didnt do a lot of handson demoing. Would this be interesting to try to achieve, so that people can actually click around some opensource solutions? - Do we need a theme? Or perhaps a few? So that we can group Presentations & demo installations around those? Eg: FOSS in Business, FOSS for Developers, FOSS on the Desktop? Having a theme might attract people who would not come to something about Software and Free (though some might come for the free thing ;-) Any more ideas, before we plunge ourselves into a Jam to do the same thing as here physically? rgds, Reinier Battenberg Director Mountbatten Ltd. +256 782 801 749 www.mountbatten.net Be a professional website builder: www.easysites.ug On Monday 31 August 2009 12:55:32 Richard Okuti wrote: > Dear friends, > > I know I tend to go silent sometimes but I am following in in the > discussions and I must start by saying I am very interested, I remember > last time we did this E-TECH, MountBatten, Linux Solutions, Wougnet, > I-Network and FCIT lets do it again may be better this time!!! > > We can meet at I-Network as soon as possible. > > Richard > > 2009/8/31 Simon Vass <[email protected]> > > > Dear Tracy, > > > > I have opted for Makarere as I think we will need the space, and EACOSS > > is a little tight if this goes 'big'.
