I was at the Cyber Law workshop too,
I want to add that there was the general consensus that issues of Privacy and
Data protection were not properly addressed in any of the current bills
exhaustively and hence an effort was going to be made to do so in either
another bill or incorporate those issues into one of the existing bills.
Also because of the date of drafting alot of new issues had rised (like newer
forms or crime) that made it imperative that a revision be done.
I definitely think the drafting lawyers could use abit of help from the general
public (which include security experts) - these people do not understand the
gravity of some of the things they say, nor even still the computer crimes they
are trying to address with the bills.
No pun intended, the Dr who did the bill that has the CA & PKI, did not
understand the technologies well - how do you expect him to draft a
comprehensive document???? - I raised this point, though my answers were given
to me during the lunch time, i hope something will be done about it

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the Problem.
