Even though tmobile and the sidekick as a device are not to blame, the
disaster that resulted in the loss of 99.9% of all the sidekick users data
is going to go down in history as one of the biggest screw ups in IT
history. Blogs and tech sites are overwhelmed with hateful comments. The
sidekick even though its a decent device may be dead as a smartphone option.
The SK for reasons unknown to me, stores all its data in "the cloud". When a
user powercycles all their info such as contacts, notes, pics are downloaded
to the device as long as it has a connection. i wont get into all the
details, but if you read the story and follow some of the links you will
surely get a good laugh (unless you own a sidekick on Tmo-USA)

PS M$ is to blame for all of this ... no joke :)
