Dear all, Hope you are keeping well.
During the period of June - August each year, the Department of Electrical Engineering at Makerere places its 2nd and 3rd year Electrical and Telecomm students with companies/organisations for industrial training. The aim of this training is to provide students with practical experience outside the Department, and give the student a chance to apply theoretical knowledge to real world experiences. At the end of the training, students should have better appreciation for their profession, for what it takes to run a company/organisation, and the value of social organisation/team work. For companies/organisations, this is an opportunity to contribute to the training of engineering graduates and also to have some extra hands addressing technical issues of interest.
