Dear Members,
I Hope that this mail finds you in good shape.
I have a problem with Evolution although I feel it is what I should be
using as my mailing agent.
1) I have totally failed to figure out why Evolution doesnt want me to
use my personal Address Book. When you click on the 'TO' link you are
given the available Address books, and on my machine I have two.
I have CouchDB->Ubuntu One and On this Computer -> Personal
When I tried to set my default address book in EDIT, PREFERENCES,
CONTACTS, I made sure I deselect the Ubuntu One, and selected the
Personal, but to my amusement, this didnt save the problem, when ever I
try to auto-complete an address in the 'TO' link, it cant finish, when I
click on it, it shows that the Ubuntu One is the default Address book
and it has no address in it.----I have failed on this.
2) The other thing, actually setting me off, is the password requisition
when ever I try to do a pop or send mail (send/Receive)
I remember properly when I was setting up my accounts, I set it to
remember the passwords, and even when this dialog box comes, the
'Remember password' Check box is selected. But I am still wondering why
it is stubborn up to this point. When ever it tries to do a send/receive
(checking mails from the server) it asks me for a password, after
providing it, everything goes on well but it asks for the password every
time (2minutes) it does a send/Receive. Right now am in a series of
password entering because evolution has refused to save the passwords I
gave it.
If there is any one who has tried to win it, please, I shall be glad if
you helped me on the tricks you used to win this monster.
Thanks in advance.
Stay blessed,
