there is 3 likely reasons for this - .ug domains are about 3 times more expensive as a .com - most international hosting sites dont offer the sales of .ug, but they do offer .com etc (and it needs additional configuration by client or intermediate hosting provider to make it work with an international host, like bluehost) - there is about 0 incentive for hosting providers besides CFI to offer .ug domains as there is no reseller program. hiking .ug prices would just send clients straight to CFI.
