Hi, I am currently at drupalcon in Copenhagen and its pretty exciting! I already talked to Dries and webchick and tens of other famous drupal people. Only 1 subject of course, Drupal.
If you have played with or used Drupal more seriously, and you would like to ask anyone of the attendants a question (or two), let me know. While I cant plug Drupal enough in Africa, here we'll try to plug Africa to the Drupal community. Joeri Poesen, based in Senegal, and myself will present a session about Drupal in Africa coming Thursday. We're making sure all people from the conference from Africa and those interested will show up. We want to explain the immense potential using Drupal has here. With SMS integration, mobile website capabilities, a much better user-experience in Drupal 7 (which might be finished this week), install profiles etc. Drupal is the hottest content management globally but definetly also in Africa. My question is what you, with most of you with far more african experience than Joeri and myself combined, expect of a Content Management System, like Drupal, and of a community like the Drupal community. How can the people that we will talk to and with on Thursday support the website builders in Africa? What did the CMS's that you have tried so far lack in functionality? Or, in short, how can we make Drupal better for your use?
