This thread was very interesting, and educational, i learn t many things
1. some people have selective amnesia (short term memory loss) (a medical
condition, where you selectively remember what suits you), very common
with
politicians. President Kagame of Rwanda has stated he is running for his
last term. I hope he does, and sets a legacy.
my reference here is not Political, but some people, said that 99% of the
suit (Oracle versus Google) was about patents. someone went to the
lengths
of using a pirated version of MS Word to do a word count. Optimal use of
time, i might say,
a case of hyper selective amnesia. Am not sure if in advanced stages it
becomes dissociative or psychogenic.
2. some people dont know the difference between a mailing list and a help
desk ticketing application. In the latter you can close a ticket. In a
mailing list, you cant close a thread. You can respond to a thread,
ignore
it, or start a new one. In a mailing list, u have no hitler powers to
close
a thread
3. Why am I, obsessed with this thread, i loathe, people who feel they
know
it all, when the reality is different. Before responding to a thread, do
your homework (read research). And such people deserve to be put in a
corner.
Not a very bad thing, of u think of it, not as a bad, as the woman who
put a
cat in the bin.
