Hi Roy, Super! Make sure you get a drupal.org account, that you enable Git on that account. Then install Git on your local machine.
In the whole process, you will probably use a lot of blogposts, tutorials etc. Could you create a blogpost on linux.or.ug that holds links to the posts you used? The whole Git thing on Drupal.org is pretty new. This Tuesday at 18:00 there is an online course in Git by Randy Fay. http://groups.drupal.org/node/130014 We plan to watch that too, as this is tough stuff. Well worth it though, and randy is pretty cool. Once you are all set up, you need to create a sandbox project http://drupal.org/node/1068950 And then, the actual coding can start :-) Keep us posted! -- rgds, Reinier Battenberg Director Mountbatten Ltd. +256 758 801 749 www.mountbatten.net On Saturday 26 March 2011 18:06:38 roy mukasa wrote: > I would love to take on that challenge since am one of those who have > the task to create modules for drupal.
