Hi everyone, As you may be aware, last month's LUG event(s) got rescheduled for this Thursday and Saturday due to last weeks violence. Here's the updated details:
1) On Thursday, May 5th, at 4PM we'll be holding a beer-soaked multiplayer PC gaming event at Mountbatten HQ in Muyenga. Here's the full agenda: 1. Presentation: 15 Linux Commands You Should Know 2. Presentation: Unity / Gnome 3 demo and review 3. Presentation: 5 cool Drupal modules 4. Multiplayer PC Gaming 101 5. Multiplayer PC Gaming + free beer Arrive early, bring headphones, and bring a USB stick (or laptop) to take a copy of the games with you. More details/map/etc: http://linux.or.ug/node/1761 2) On Saturday, May 7th, we'll have two trade-show booths at the Enterprise Technology Young Professionals Symposium event at Makerere University FCIT building B. Six computers will be configured for multiplayer PC gaming along with demonstrations of Ubuntu and other innovative open-source technology projects. We'll also be handing out free copies of Ubuntu with the games and demo software pre-installed on them.
