You shouldn't pay for a mac book twice. You can always get similar hardware and install 10.6 or 10.7 hackintosh. When my imac and macbook were crippled due to lightning storm. I replaced the ima. With an optiplex 755 from dell and replaced the macbook with asus eee pc.
