Ivan, we had the same issue at my workplace with an hp pavillion with similar specs, except for the additional ATI radeon 4500 series card. It got to a stage of running ubuntu 10.04 for 3days and windows 7 for 24 hours for every re-install cycle. We pegged ours down to a hard disk problem, so I'd like to know if your fixes work. regards Joachim _______________________________________________ The Uganda Linux User Group: http://linux.or.ug Send messages to this mailing list by addressing e-mails to: [email protected] Mailing list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Mailing list settings: http://kym.net/mailman/listinfo/lug To unsubscribe: http://kym.net/mailman/options/lug The Uganda LUG mailing list is generously hosted by INFOCOM: http://www.infocom.co.ug/ The above comments and data are owned by whoever posted them (including attachments if any).
