Hi Tim,

I think you are spot on. Especially when you are in University and you have 
time + internet access at hand, there is hardly any excuse not to go online 
and do some extra-curriculum work.

As an employer, people that have been involved in FLOSS projects in a 
constructive way, totally stand out of the crowd. 

And had I mentioned it is fun, too?
