what about AUG? Apple_users_group for all the fanboys to wallow in our ios/osx religion?
Also brings up a point mentioned earlier this year concerning forum vs mailing list. In a forum Tim could simply ignore the subgroup for apple and concentrate on his passion with the open source sub group. And vice versa for apple fans. Then no one would be offended by their mailbox being filled with posts they are not interested in, while always having the option to peek into other sub groups to satisfy curiosity or simply to get a laugh.
