I did my upgrade yesterday. iPhone needs to wipe the disk before performing any OS upgrades, and that meant needing to backup what's already on the phone. The issue was restoring the backup could fail at times. It took me 3 retries to restore fully, although my backups were never in jeopardy. Same thing happened to the wife when she was upgrading the iPad. But all is well now. I know Apple products aren't open source, but I can't shake the habit of talking about "operational" experiences. I do the same with Cisco and Juniper, and those are fairly closed systems :-). Cheers, Mark.
