But where is your preference for building from scratch coming from? 

Why do you think you can beat whole teams of FLOSS developers?

Am asking this, because I see it a lot, still. Websites that are developed 
page by page, from scratch. And I wonder where that is coming from?

Is it an unlimited believe in ones skills, or as you point out, the total 
opposite?
