Great idea -- I'd be happy to assist!  Saturday's are also best for me.

FYI our customized copy of Quake 3 can be found here:
http://games.pamoya.com/

It's configured to use our custom (locally hosted) master-server by default
so you should be able to easily connect to our local servers through the
game's multiplayer menu.
