Wow,

I am a windows user and I think the Windows 8 UI sucks!! This UI was
designed for hardware having a touch interface
and when used as intended, gives satisfaction. One must firs overcome the
revulsion at the look of the damn thing.

Without a company like apple to POLICE the development of applications and
the appropriateness of apps, the metro
UI falls FLAT on its face and reveals itself to be nothing but a bunch of
tiles in one colour. The assumption that a user
will need TONNES of information at a glance leading to designation of
otherwise useless desktop real-estate to this
cause is something that I am sure Linux will catch up with.

Lastly maybe one should say (if so inclined) that KDE, Gnome or Unity
(deservedly so) SUCK. But not damn the whole
Operating System based on a purely aesthetic standpoint. When it comes to
ergonomics, I promise you Linux offers
just as many (and as ugly too) icons on the desktop as windows 8 does.

How much the Linux UI sucks. At first I tried to flatter myself but since
this is a topic of relativity
let me give you the new windows 8 look. This is classic UI design
