Thanks for the comments, guys. What hasn't been done yet is to better integrate user-uploaded photos into the site. That'll add some of the fun back (captions, comments, etc).
The old system is still there but it's a bit buggy -- a new system is half-way integrated but not visible to non-admin users yet :) Just need to find some time to finish it off (perhaps after XMAS).
