Well that is kind of my point, really great that they might be recognizing that frameworks need to be put in to place, but this please stop whilst we catch up attitude is a plain wrong and b) not going to work. If your business is all about being first to market or your on a budget based on deliverable would you want to peg your timeline to the MoH or any Gov agency for that matter? Would have been better for them to announce some kind of body to look at how they can streamline everyone's efforts and warn everyone that if they want MoH approval they soon might have some rules/standards that they need to ad-hear to, an invite people to submit there projects and ideas.

More likely is, however, that it is simply a panicked letter of "hurr wait for me what is this computer stuff durr". Simon Vass <[email protected]> wrote: Anyone else struck that this letter is akin to to the MoH saying stop the Ferriswheel it's going to fast? I am not even sure of it's legality or to be honest it's point, asking everyone to stop until the MoH catches up seems well stupid? As we all know the chances of Government catching up to the private sector are well slim? I do how ever recognize that guideline being drafted is a good idea to protect patient data etc. Just my 2 cents Simon Vass Managing Director E-Tech Uganda Ltd http://www.etech.ug Tel: +256 (0) 312260620 or (0) 312260621 email: [email protected] skype: e-techservicedesk ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stephen S.
