Hi all,

This friday the local OpenStreetMap community & the LUG have to pleasure of
hosting David Farthing. Mr. Farthing is teaching at the University of
Glamorgan in Wales and also an avid Openstreetmapper.

For the real mappers, we will start with a session on JOSM at 15:00
Around 16:30 Mr Farthing will do a small presentation about using maps in
governance, followed by a vivid round of discussion.

The team from Mappingday.com will present some of the work they have been
doing on the Pioneer busroutes and the recently released water points from the
Ministry of Water.

The location is on the Kampabits/Mountbatten compound in Muyenga.

The date, friday th 13th, 15:00. The map:

(right, after Hotel International, the concrete road, *not* the dustroad going
down!)

please be on time, the event will not last past 18:00 because there is a plane
to catch.
