Hello Benjamin,
I didn't create partions while installing Ubuntu in Windows, did side by side
installation. Output is right here for analysis.

(for ubuntu 10.0)
Hi Nelson,
I think we need to clarify some things. There are no Windows wireless drivers
in the Ubuntu Software Centre. The package to which I was referring is a
firmware package which is needed for the kernel driver to work properly. Due to
licensing restrictions, these files cannot be included on the Ubuntu CD, hence
the extra installing step. The package may download some Windows packages to
extract the files needed, but those files are operating system independent.
Also, I think some of your partitions may be of the wrong type. That is, they
are marked as NTFS but formatted as something else. This is relatively
harmless, if a bit confusing, understandably. I think that upon running the
command "mount" in the terminal you will find that far from all of your
partitions are formatted as NTFS.
