I don’t think it is possible to convince these “data cap minded” guys to give 
free bandwidth for MASSIVE downloads.
would be nice though.

Actually, several mirors is not a bad idea. Or at least making sure the one 
mirror has several means of being connected to the Internet.

I wonder if we could convice one of the ISPs that it would be a great sales 
pitch to offer free traffic for its customers to an in-house mirror?
