Most servers are today, but a certain Ugandan ISP -- and, accordingly, its
SMTP server -- seems to be ten to fifteen years behind on basic security.
:) That said, the very nature of SMTP is inherently insecure, which is why
no one in their right mind would consider e-mail secure. Unless you encrypt
and sign your messages, e-mail is about as secure as postcards. Less
secure, in fact.
