even back in 2004, Linux had a bunch of software that one could use.. I
recall pouring through FreeBSD (UNIX not Linux) 10,000+ list of
applications and it had everything you needed from Payroll applications to
ERP's... yes in 2004.. I believe that Linux must have heard its share of
applications that not many may have been aware of.

Now with the growth of Linux, I believe you can roll out OpenERP, just to
mention one, and it will more than provide a complete solution for you
organisation needs; from a SOHO to a behemoth like URA
