If they were fake and did not have the stolen file then they would get passwords but would not have the email addresses they belong to so the passwords would be useless to them. This stunt below would only work if they had the file. Otherwise what use would thousands of passwords be? Work it the other way.... If you enter the password "linkedin" or even "password" into the service link below it says it has been cracked. So now you have two passwords use them (linkedin or password) to get into the service provider.. No use without the email correct? If they have the email and the password and you check and it has been cracked. Change it quick as you have just told them what your email address is.
