Sorry forgot to mention this but the Ubuntu Developer Summit is now on.
They have recently switched from a physical event to a virtual event
hosted on Google Hangouts. You can find out more at
http://summit.ubuntu.com. If your interested in developing applications
around the platform I'd recommend jumping in.
The format has changed recently, so now instead of being every 6 months
these will be held every 3 months. Topics with active discussion include.
The new converged platform of Ubuntu Touch
Mir Display Manager
Potential change to a Rolling Release and what that would entail.
