Remember, this is the product of lots of failed Gov. projects where after spending millions or billions of tax payers money the system does not work, and when they get rid of the system (usually around election time) the next bunch come in and we start all over again. NHS IT being a good case in point. I think the problem we have here is our government even if it does blow millions on a failed IT project no one is held to account so why should the next lot even care if it works on not. Very different objectives.
