Of course, if you're starting in Milan, we can reserve you this
flight (I thought that you have to travel from Turin or Aosta,
so I didn't include this in previous calculation):

                     departure       arrival    class     flight #
 Milan -> Trieste    13 Oct 09:25    10:35      Economy   AZ1335

I hope that this would be OK? It's closest to 10am that I could get.

Great, thank you, Gieorgio! If you have another solution, you can
suggest it to us (we don't know much about inter-Italy flights), but
I hope that this schedule will be just fine.

It takes more than two hours by car. So we expect to arrive in Ljubljana
at 13:00, which will give you additional two hours to accomodate at
Ales's place and freshen up before the speech at 15:00.

See you!
