I'm not the more indicated to discuss about WiFiDog, maybe the others can join :) AFAIK, WiFiDog doesn't have QoS implemented in his gateway component nor in the Auth Server. They have a document about Traffic Shaping: http://dev.wifidog.org/wiki/doc/developer/TrafficShapingIssues Regarding QoS and the Gateway Node. We have a Traffic Shaping script that only runs in Gateway Mode, this is because the owner of the node and/or the Internet connection can set how much bandwidth to share, and also it will provide a better use of the connection by also doing QoS. The script needs more testing and probably more improvements/bug fixes, it is just the first beta release. > I can be wrong, I respect your work, you inspire me. Don't worry, we like to discuss this issues so we can check more our setup and ideas :) > Marian Saludos, Julio -- www.lugro-mesh.org.ar/ Wireless Mesh Networks Group www.lugro.org.ar GNU/Linux User Group Rosario, Argentina Slackware rulez :P www.slackware.org NO A LA MATRICULA!!!: http://noalamatricula.wordpress.com/ _______________________________________________ Lugro-mesh mailing list [email protected] http://lugro.org.ar/mailman/listinfo/lugro-mesh
