This is not an LTS release - this is a re-spin of 2.16.0 with a single fix (LU-18435<https://jira.whamcloud.com/browse/LU-18435>) that we have discovered has a broader scope than first understood. We recommend that anyone planning to use 2.16.x uses this release rather than 2.16.0.
