Hi: I am trying to use UML to understand how Lustre runs in the kernel level.
From the Lustre distributions I can download from the CFS website, the only Lustre patch that supports UML is "vanilla-2.4.29-uml". So I am using Linux-2.4.29 kernel. For all the root fs I find from the web that are compatible with 2.4.29, when I tried to configure and install Lustre on the root fs, the process hangs. Does anybody else has had the same experience? If possible, could anybody indicate me the version or download url of Lustre, Linux kernel, UML patch and root fs that do work together?
