During the build of 1.4.9, we discovered a strange problem with the latest SLES 10 kernel: an extra -0.6 is added to the kernel version due to the existance of a "localversion-rpm-release" file, which is now part of the linux-2.6.16.27-0.6 kernel but was not in linux-2.6.16.21-0.8. The contents of this file are added to the kernel version.
