Sadly, it is not so much unsafe to continue as impossible - the patches that failed were reverted, so you don't have a properly patched source. At this point, you would have to walk through the Lustre patches and fix each place where there is a FAIL. The fixes themselves are usually trivial, but the process is a bit of work.
