MDT with ldiskfs has a large amount of it total space pre-allocated for inodes. 
 Standard tools don’t see this as “free space” and is very normal for free 
space to seem odd.

I would suggest you track free inodes on an Ldiskfs MDT as it is more 
meaningful metric for most users.
