Hi 王烁斌- There is a caution in section 13.3 (https://doc.lustre.org/lustre_manual.xhtml#mounting_server) of the Lustre Operations Manual,
> Do not do this when the client and OSS are on the same node, as memory > pressure between the client and OSS can lead to deadlocks. It is unclear to me from your message whether you intend to mount the same Lustre filesystem as is being hosted -- however you may not want to mount a Lustre filesystem on a server hosting even a different Lustre filesystem, just to reduce operational interdependencies. -Laura _______________________________________________ lustre-discuss mailing list lustre-discuss@lists.lustre.org http://lists.lustre.org/listinfo.cgi/lustre-discuss-lustre.org
