Folks, Over the past couple of weeks I have significantly expanded the section devoted to Lute Art on the "Links" page of the LSA website:
http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~lsa/links/index.html#art Why not stop in for a visit, or better yet, plan your vacation so that you can explore some of these museums and see the original artworks? Also, perhaps one of you can come up with an explanation for the existence of two almost identical paintings by Gerard ter Borch, both entitled "The Music Lesson." What is the significance of the subtle difference in the right hand of the music master? Regards, Daniel Heiman LSA Webmaster
