think we risk not going to heaven.

i believe feathers from wild fowl are preferred to
domestic.

alex timmerman in the "classical ..." section of the
"mandolin.cafe" site contributed a very informative
article on bird quill plectrum - how to prepare them,
etc..

joseph baldassare's article in the lute journal on the
icongraphy of early plectrum use is especially good.
