I am pleased to inform the members of the list that I will no longer be promulgating all that BRARNEY about early wired harps, nor shall I ever again speak of kissing the Blarney Stone. But don't get your hopes up, I shall remain on the list and contribute whatever inaccurate and fallacious messages I have to impart. I appreciate the off list mesages I've received. I'll say only this. What knowledge I have of strings and stringed instuments will continue to come to the list, and if I'm wrong it is up to each of you to judge. I'll no longer respond to those who may choose to pick at details. My email is open to any and all who wish to write directly, and I'll remain on this list.
