For things like this, in the U.S. a good place to check is with Eric Haas at the von Huene Workshop. They are successors to Donna Curry and the Monks. There is a free catalogue of lute and other plucked books and music from von Huene. It lists the Satoh method (US$37.50), among other things. The latest from TREE includes a complete Barbetta edition.

Silverman To: LUTE-LIST Sent: Tuesday, December 13, 2005 3:31 PM Subject: [LUTE] ordering from TREE editions Dear those-in-the-know, There are several books I would like to order from TREE Editions (primarily the Satoh Baroque Lute Method, but am sure there are others in the catalogue I will want at the time of order). I assume the only link to what they have is through http://home.pacbell.net/anyware/lute/TREE105.pdf and that snail mail is my only option (no Paypal or such option and no US distributors of their editions, blah, blah, blah)? TIA! Greg-- To get on or off this list see list information at http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~wbc/lute-admin/index.html --
