I'm trying to follow up this reference: B. Kenyon de Pascual, The One-Man Band in Eighteenth-Century Spain and Instrument No. 89.4.1039 in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, Journal of the American Musical Instrument Society 20, 6572 (1994).
I haven't got access to AMIS. I'd really like to know what instrument or, at least, what sort of instrument No89.4.1039 is. Anyone got a catalogue?
