Paintings & Engravings exist, but the single strung thing is mainly 
modern guitar practice.
There is also a hybrid style used quite a bit nowadays that has 
guitar style theorbo  (heavy single strings, etc) plus semi 
historical technique.
Zero is an awfully big number, but it freezes well.
