To all: Acting on the recommendations of several experts on this list, we recorded part of a recent concert with a Zoom H2. Sample mp3s can be found on our website. We performed in a very resonant church and placed the recorder about 2 meters in front of us, disguised in a basket of flowers. I think we'll try placing it higher in the room next time. The concert featured the more Italianate music of Dowland, with a few Italian songs from Musical Banquet, and one by Monteverdi. We were very pleased to be joined by Alexander Rakov on treble and bass viol. We live in a rural area with a terrible internet connection, so to conserve (our) bandwidth, the mp3 files are whittled down to about one minute each. We have also just added a few more pdfs to our Downloads, with a little something for everyone. Enjoy.
