Hello Omer I've been tackling this issue myself recently. I started by trying some historical instructions for fret placement (found on the The Lute Society of America Fret Placement Spreadsheet):
http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~lsa/download/index.html I found, after a lot of trial and error, that Gerle's instructions led to more-or-less 1/6 comma, which is more-or-less what I wanted.
