Hi lutenists and hang around gang,

I've played to the YouTube and Vimeo some arrangements of pieces by
Lully. The arranger of these pieces is no less than Robert de Visee
himself. You'll find the links, and also the music by de Visee, and
_also_ most of the models, the original versions by Lully in my page:
  http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/wikla/mus/Tiorba/deVisee/

I suppose it is interesting to see, how de Visee made his arrangements?
I think he did them very well! :-) Also I've tried my hand, and I
cannot even come close... ;-(

The pieces are from ms. Saizenay:
    * Second air d'Isis (Lully, Isis, 1677) (Saizenay, p. 217)
    * Que ces lieux ont d'attraits (Lully, Isis, 1677) (Saizenay, p. 218)
    * Grand Ballet du Roy ("Sommes nous pas trop heureux", Lully, Ballet
      de l'Impatience,1661) (Saizenay, p. 221)
    * Que devant vous tout s'abaisse et tout tremble (Lully, Atys, 1676)
      (Saizenay, p. 225)
    * Entree d'Apollon (Lully, Le Triomphe de l'Amour, 1681) (Saizenay,
p.
      222)

Best,

Arto
