Thinking ahead to 2011, I hope to attend the Lute Society Seminar, traveling by plane. At least one person has said that he never has had a problem with being allowed to carry his instrument onto the plane with him, checking it in at the gate (this is assuming a smallish Renaissance lute & case). Have others here found that they have been able to do this? Or not been allowed to do this?
