I happened to find a little but quite strange Capriccio by Losy. Usually his music is very much in line with his time, but this one is different - somehow I get an idea that in this piece there could be some eastern European folk music influences? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEsM3RsE-Ys Could that be the case?
