Dear lutenists,
some days ago Pietro Prosser sent me the back side of a picture, that
was drawn on a copper plate, with a tablature with the question of the
art historian Anna Bianco, if we can identify the piece on it.
See a short overview on:
http://mss.slweiss.de/index.php?id=3&type=research&lang=eng
Also the auction pictures from April 2016:
https://www.dorotheum.com/auktionen/aktuelle-auktionen/kataloge/list-lots-detail/lotID/185/lot/2029506-alessandro-tiarini.html?search_phrase1=Tiarini&search_type=1&source=search&objects=1&artists=1&videos=1&view=text&img=2
Together with some other person, we found out that it is a varied
version of Alessandro Piccinini's Aria III Con parte variate.
Does someone know the print, where it was part of?
Best regards
Markus
